Welcome!

Hi everybody and thanks for visiting our site and blog. Mongoose - The Web Company has been around for almost a year now and we want start by thanking everyone who has believed in us and worked with us so far. It’s been a pleasure working with so many passionate people and helping them communicate their visions to the world. After all design is really just another form of communication and the art of visual communication through web development and graphic design is simply our passion.

As this blog matures, our intention is to commentate on our industry in general and hopefully give people a real insight into what we are about and also what this industry is about…lifting the veil if you will. We hope it will be engaging and interesting and in that spirit please feel free to make suggestions of topics or questions you may want to see touched upon.

To begin, I would like to share something a designer friend of mine expressed to me that perfectly articulates why we love what we do here at Mongoose - The Web Company. The question was, “why are you passionate about design?” To paraphrase his answer…

We love what we do because:

1. The learning never stops. We always have the ability to get better.
2. The process is fun. We get genuinely excited every time we “open the book” on a new project.
3. The ability to create. We get to take thought and put it to paper.
4. Happy clients when a job is complete. There is nothing better.

The opportunity we have to learn, create, and serve is awesome. On that note, I would like to officially open our blog! Thanks in advance for your time and input and we at Mongoose - The Web Company wish everyone a very happy holidays and a great 2008!
